Coburn Technologies introduced the Huvitz HPE-990 Lens Edger to its in-office lens finishing system lineup. Specifically, the platform builds on the earlier HPE-910 model and, according to the company, delivers higher stability, faster processing speeds, and expanded edging options while supporting plastic, high-index, polycarbonate, Trivex, and glass lens materials. 

The HPE-990 is available in 5 models, ranging from the base HPE-990 N, which offers standard beveling and grooving, to the HPE-990 Pro, which includes integrated drilling and Deep Step Bevel technology, which allows step bevels up to 20 mm to accommodate lens-over-frame eyewear styles. OM
