Myopia Profile announced the return of Myopia Action Month this September. Specifically, the global program provides eyecare professionals (ECPs) with free resources, clinical tools, and evidence-based education that is designed to help practitioners advance myopia management in their practices, according to a press release.

Feedback from ECPs worldwide guides Myopia Action Month’s third year, says Dr. Kate Gifford, cofounder and director of Myopia Profile, in a press release. She adds, “This year, we’ve developed targeted, actionable content that addresses the most common themes we heard, helping [ECPs] elevate their myopia management practices.”
Throughout September, ECPs will have access to these multiple programs and resources:
-
Myopia Quick Takes – More than a dozen short clinical snapshots that cover essentials from testing to treatments are shared across Myopia Profile’s social media platforms.
-
Clinical Clarity Series – Weekly 10-minute lectures that address practical topics, such as initiating myopia management, screen time considerations, optical treatment options, and atropine use.
-
