Visionix USA announced in a press release that its new VX 40 Pro lens verification system will be available for early-access ordering at Vision Expo 2026 in Orlando, Florida, from March 11 to 14. The company will showcase the device at Booth 3429.
The VX 40 Pro, previously known as the VX 40 Couture, is a next-generation auto lensmeter and lens verification system designed to help optical professionals in both independent practices and larger optical labs evaluate eyewear quickly and accurately. According to a press release, the system performs a comprehensive lens check in approximately 30 seconds using a fully automated, 1-touch process.
During the analysis, the device measures key optical parameters including spherical power, cylinder, axis, prism, segment height, and optical center positioning. Results are displayed in real time at a true 1:1 scale. The system also generates a compliance report which supports quality assurance and traceability in optical workflows. The VX 40 Pro can operate either as a standalone unit or as part of an integrated lab workflow with the Briot Couture and WECO E7 edging systems, the company said in the press release. Additional features include automatic lens detection and mapping, pupillary distance and segment height measurements, vertical imbalance detection, and visualization of measurements.
“This system empowers ECPs to provide exceptional service and ensures every pair of glasses meets exact specifications, resulting in fewer returns and greater patient satisfaction,” Matt Vulich, vice president of national accounts at Visionix, said in the press release.
Demonstrations of the device will be available at Vision Expo alongside Visionix’s Optovue OCT and OCTA technology, refraction and screening solutions, and Briot and WECO lens finishing systems. Eyecare professionals who are unable to attend the event can schedule a demonstration or consultation through Visionix’s virtual demo program. OM
